Our day started early with a good bite on bigger fish and continued as a slow scratch throughout the day. The morning bite was real deal with 150-200lbers swimming through the chunk line and following the hooked skipjack right up to the boat. We kept 26 yft for the day, 12 of which were 150 to 190 with three more over 200. We also released 20 fish from 70-150 due to limited space available.
Tomorrow is our final day which we will spend here hoping for another morning hit.
Eric Mckee is in the shot with a cow taken on a skipjack this morning.

01/31/14 Another good day of angling on 70-150lb yft in balmy flat calm weather. Classic tuna fishing with the best action coming in the morning and evenings while midday provides a slow scratch. We did have one shot at a cow but unfortunately the hook pulled. We will be sitting tight here with two more days to fish. This might sound ridiculous but a very effective method this trip has been pinning multiple small sardines on a large hook with a 1/2...... Read More

01/30/14 Flat calm weather and good fishing on 60-100lb yft at the bank today but aside from a 206 we didn't get our shots at plus size fish. Incredible sign with this exceptional weather as we could see fish up to 100lbs blowing out on flyers for miles in all directions at times. We will give this at least one more day hoping for a better shot at cows tomorrow. Roger Nies with a 220 is today's shot. Randy Toussaint Photo Here......... Read More
