Results speak volumes, and for themselves. And for that, because of that, we presently wear a big grin. The 2013 summer
offshore tuna fishing continues. Bluefin, as forecast, continue to dominate in both volume and satisfaction. There is nothing
about catching 40 - 80# bluefin that gets old, and never will be. And bigger models - plenty of them - are still out there to
be had.

And that is exactly where we will be seeking to begin the 12th annual "Pelagic Fish Survey" with the "Humboldt Fishin'
Lumberjacks" on a high note. The fishing has been so tremendous during the past week that we can't find a reason not to swing
for the fence. Captain Randy Toussaint and yours truly are at it again combining our wit and wisdom during this run. While no
guarantee of success, time has proven this true on more than one occasion, our collective efforts do have a tendency to
balance the equation.

In this instance we shall see. For now everything we can muster is in our favor. It looks like we could use a little help
from Mother Nature in the form of good working conditions but we'll reserve judgement on that until tomorrow. This veteran
group of anglers is already salty, and ready to go.

We took off towards late afternoon and went looking for a few more large bluefin to cap the...... Read More
