Our program of return and departure was small news of the day. As expected offshore tuna fishing for both yellowfin and
bluefin went ballistic for the guys working below. In flat calm conditions the showing was perfect - ideal sport fish that
were eager to bite and wide spread in abundance. Multiple size classes of both species, everyone connecting big time
ultimately cherry picking through different spots trying their best to target the largest fish available - it was good
fishing in the right way; and yet another harbinger of action for the local guys yet to come.

Get ready for September. Unless Mother Nature throws us a huge curve ball offshore fishing for bluefin and yellowfin is right
on track to roll through the end of the month. Speaking of which we still have plenty of availability on the Sept 21 - 28th
and Sept 28th - October 5th, Saturday to Saturday seven day voyages that are perfectly poised to take full advantage of the
pending offshore action and more. The grade of fish is beautiful, the weather is finally right, and no visible obstacles
stand presently in the path of many good days of fishing.

In the present needless to say we are chomping at the bit ready to jump back into the action. In slight trepidation about the
narrow windows of opportunity that have been the pattern this season we roll south optimistically believing that this float
will have legs a few days beyond. Preparation is key, and that is the current focus. Tomorrow will begin the tale as we
commence fishing with a specific goal in mind.

Photos today are a couple more images from the last run that already trigger warm memories. Jill Ouano with a dandy "premium"
yellowtail and Brandon Cotton with one of his many fine, 65 - 75# class offshore bluefin.

8/29/13 We started off the day with a fair shot on quality yellows audience to beauty delivered by something far more grand than explanation will define. God's cathedral was booming thunderous today, and silent. Grease calm, crisp, and infinitely layered, conditions alone made a day of sublime satisfaction. It wasn't just about fishing, thankfully in this case as nothing extraordinary occurred, but the combination of events, conditions, and spectacular scenery could not help but produce a sense of calm, satisfaction, and well......
