We spent a very pleasant day here at Cedros enjoying the sun and flat calm weather while catching a few bass and yellows. Although they didn't bite well there was very good sign of nice grade yellows here for the first time this year which bodes well for upcoming trips.We are traveling up tonight and plan on fishing the coast tomorrow if the weather permits.

Unfortunately the weather came back up today with a vengeance which greatly hindered our offshore efforts. The stage is set water wise but we simply haven't had the weather yet this season to give it a concerted effort, when it finally lays down I feel we'll start posting some bft and albacore scores. Very little sign of tuna here at the rocks today in spite of very good conditions and nice weather. With plenty of yellowtail under our belt we are heading offshore for tomorrow in hopes of finding bft and albacore. Jon Kuch our Shimano rep this trip is in today's shot reefing on a big yellow on a butterfly jig outfit. This rig was lethal on the big yellows throughout our two day bite. Photo Here... ......
