Fish Report for 5-31-2011
Very little sign of tuna here at the rocks today in spite of very good conditions and nice weather. With plenty of yellowtail under our belt we are heading offshore for tomorrow in hopes of finding bft and albacore. Jon Kuch our Shimano rep this trip is in today's shot reefing on a big yellow on a butterfly jig outfit. This rig was lethal on the big yellows throughout our two day bite.

5-30-2011Our epic bite on 30-50lb yellows picked up this morning right where it left off yesterday and continued throughout the day. A nice steady pick until lunch when a huge spot of yellows started blowing out on a ball of squid right next to the boat, after which it was game on.
