Fish Report for 7-22-2009
As predicted on this site a few days ago, we had some very good fishing today. Our best stop of the day was a ripper for 70 fish. The Albacore are beauties at 25 - 40 lbs. There is also a mix of tuna in these schools. Our weather is flat calm and predicted to stay that way. We will be in this same offshore area again in the morning.

Nothing like a little variety fishing in flat calm weather to finish off a great voyage that up to today featured almost exclusive action on albacore. Bluefin tuna was the target today and we came up with a couple of decent schools that weren't quite ready to snap but ultimately yielded twenty three beauties from 35 - 42 pounds. One standout for angler Scott Morton tipped the scales at 80 pounds eliciting cheers, compliments, and admiration as we all stood...... Read More
