Royal Star

bait for a handful of chosen anglers. It was far better than nothing and got our anglers in the spirit before we continued our adventure towards southern waters where we will be targeting yellowtail and dorado on kelps tomorrow. Beyond tomorrow I am reasonably certain that we will be visting one of Baja's beautiful coastal islands before returning north again in search of albacore.

As far as the famed Isla Guadalupe is concerned all I can report is that we do not yet have permits in hand, but, by all accounts, the process is nearing completion. In the meantime we will maintain a positive perspective realizing the fortunate fact that we have plenty of quality to fish for and, thankfully, plenty of quantity to consider all of our voyages this season successful to date. I do want to emphasize that we will immediately broadcast the reciept of permits to fish Isla Guadalupe when we have something in hand. I know everyone is engaged in the drama and hungry for information, so believe me, we will keep you all informed.

With the day's success in the bank, we departed for the northern sector, planning to resume the offshore search with high hopes of mixing up our catch...... Read More
