Another nice morning of action on twenty to thirty five pound yellowfin tuna while weeding through and releasing a few smaller of their brethren. Once the big morning push was over we passed the remainder of our day prospecting, finding plenty of good conditions and several other promising areas all holding fish, but nothing that wanted to cooperate in the way of biting. The only other action came from two floating objects, one of which we had a hand in some time ago. A small spot of twenty five pound yellowfin and a good amount of beautiful grade, twenty five to thirty pound Dorado were eager to please although the red hot action was short lived compared to a previous visit to this area a few trips ago. At day's end we elected for a northerly move planning to stop the boat and fish tomorrow in a variety of ridge destinations. Although the previous three days of offshore searching have been consistently productive, it is definitely time for a change of pace. Such is the beauty of these fall ten day voyages and tomorrow, with plenty of fishing time remaining, we will try our hand at all the ridge favorites in absolutely beautiful, flat calm weather.
