Royal Star

After a splendid passage up the line in primo, flat calm weather, spirits were soaring as anglers reveled in the moment, enjoying the final day and evening of good times and friendship. After all the whole experience of long range fishing is much more than simply catching fish, though admittedly that is the main attraction. It is always rewarding for the crew and I however, and reminds us of why we are all out here when a group of exuberant anglers celebrates in sincere appreciation of the overall experience.

So now Captain Toussaint takes the helm heading south today to the promised land. Steadily improving conditions and favorable reports of changes in progress are very encouraging for the ten day voyages overall. With warm water and more life showing up at this stage of the season, it bodes very well for the later voyages as the season moves into November, December, and January. Of course time will tell as well as I through our daily updates.
