Royal Star

I just talked to Tim and while he was giving me the update a wahoo jumped aboard, nicking a passenger and hitting a crewmember , thankfully no one was hurt.
Tagging is going awesome and everyone aboard is having a great time on this historic adventure. So far they've tagged over 150 wahoo and 110 tuna, 25 of which were 120 - 190 with 5 from 212 - 265. The guys have been launching the skiff to tag the big fish, thus enabling them to get up close and personal and get a good tape in addition to inserting the tag.
Tim is going to give Clarion one more day before heading inside. Make sure you listen to "Let's Talk Hook up" this weekend as Tim will be calling with an on the water report.

Fourteen visionary anglers join us on this historic adventure that is the first ever to unite an internationally renowned scientific organization and sport fishermen on a long range voyage for the sole purpose of tag and release fishing. We are presently...... Read More
