Fish Report for 2-17-2006
Our Wednesday departure on the long awaited Revillagigedo tagging voyage coincides perfectly with a serious case of writer's block I am struggling through. As such I will keep it to the details and save my plentiful opinions for later. Fourteen visionary anglers join us on this historic adventure that is the first ever to unite an internationally renowned scientific organization and sport fishermen on a long range voyage for the sole purpose of tag and release fishing. We are presently steaming for Clarion island with a planned stop at Alijos Rocks on the way down to capture a few fish for the galley or otherwise. A little grumpy weather accompanied our departure and first day of travel but has been improving as we head south. Providing our satellite connection cooperates, look for our fishing reports to commence on Sunday the nineteenth.
