Fish Report for 7-24-2004
Very tough day prospecting offshore for a handful of dorado and yellows. We did see one spot of bft but it was the same old story, no boils or bites. We are headed down tonight and plan on fishing yellows tomorrow.

7-23-2004There is a running joke amongst our fleet that whenever Captain Toussaint takes the helm the weather flattens out and the fish come up and bite. As amazing as it seems, the joke is actually somewhat legitimate with Randy's timing proving uncanny on so many past occasions. We finally had a chance to do a little fishing from a stopped boat yesterday enjoying a fine afternoon of scratch angling on nice grade yellowtail. The pace was far from hot and heavy but steady with what seemed to be at least one or to fish hooked all the time.
