Fish Report for 5-6-2004
We fished the Hipolito area this morning for great fishing on 12-20lb yellows, one 3 hour drift was all everyone needed to get their yt fix. We spent the afternoon looking offshore as we worked up the line but in spite of good conditions and beautiful weather, found very little.
We are going to bend out wide on the way up and plan on trying for a few albacore tomorrow morning before calling it a trip.

The sardines at the receivers are on the small side right now which is also making it tough to get bites on the bigger line, hopefully the bait size will improve as the season progresses. We are going to run up tonight and try for yellows tomorrow....... Read More

Just what we were hoping for, a nice bite on 30-60lb bluefin mixed with a few 30-35lb albacore. It was never red hot but a nice steady pick, which combined with grease calm weather made for a great day. We are going to drift in this area tonight and hope for another shot at them tomorrow. ...... Read More
