Hello everyone;
Weather today was perfect for finding Yellowfin tuna. We had 10 to 12 knots most of the day, with overcast skies. It was a very nice day on the ocean.
We had an excellent day of Yellowfin tuna fishing around Morgan bank. Most of the fish were in the 40 to 50 pound range, with a few going over 60 pounds. Our morning started out very slow, but by lunch time it was bent rods for all. We ended up with over 100 fish (Yellowfin) for the day.
By late afternoon, Roy made a decision to try our luck at some Snowy Grouper. So we dropped the anchor, and started catching some quality Grouper. At dinner time the we pulled our anchor and started heading north. We will try our luck tomorrow on the Ridge for some Wahoo, and possible more Yellowtail.
The trip is winding down, but our passenger's are still full of life, and look forward to each and everyday. So until tomorrow, wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our upcoming events. The R/p crew.
P.S. We would like to wish little Jack a Happy Birthday and many more to come, and hopefully to see him out on a trip in the near future. The Royal Polaris and crew.
