Hello everyone;
Well let's talk about our weather. Mother-nature and Neptune are at it once again. I don't know who's winning, but we are paying for it. The weather was nice until dinner time, then we had 22 to 25 knots of breeze, and a very tough ride. But that's the weather.
Now fishing was excellent once again. We found quality Yellowtail on the Ridge, with most of the fish in the 25 to 30 pound range. I have not seen Yellows of this quality on the Ridge in a long time. We had limits by mid-afternoon, so it was time to try something new. We trolled up a few Wahoo, and tired our luck a Grouper once again, but they were hard to come by.
With the weather coming up, we are now headed north and Roy will try fishing some areas that we have not tried before, hopeful we can find some game fish that want to bite (ie White Sea Bass, Halibut). So with that note, we will close for now, until tomorrow, good luck and good fishing. The R/p crew.

10-15-2007Hello everyone; Weather today was perfect for finding Yellowfin tuna. We had 10 to 12 knots most of the day, with overcast skies. It was a very nice day on the ocean. We had an excellent day of Yellowfin tuna fishing around Morgan bank. Most of the fish were in the 40 to 50 pound range, with a few going over 60 pounds. Our morning started out very slow, but by lunch time it was bent rods for all. We...... Read More
