We Fished the Cortez yesterday, there is major volume out there. Albacore boiling, jumping, foaming and feeding with whales. All the fish are a solid 30 - 40 pounds, nice big chunky ones. Weather was flat clam the whole trip.

Couple of key notes:
1. If you are going bring ANCHOVIES !!!!!..They are keyed in on the 'chovy as the area is loaded with bait balls of the stuff.
2. They do not want the troll feather at all, nor Iron or plastics, we tried them all...
3. Don't bother trolling just look for the foamers, it's run and gun type fishing.....Or sonar marks
4. The fish on whales wanted to bite full speed.

We were jugged with bigger sized sardines and managed to get 11 fat Albacore, but if we would have had Anchovies, we would have destroyed them. We literally ran up on 50 spots of breaking fish yesterday.
