Searcher Gets Yellowfin

Art Taylor docked his Searcher at Fisherman's landing October 4 following a five-day trip with 26 anglers.
Dan Kelleher of Cambria won first place with a 72-pound tuna he bagged with a sardine on a 2/0 ringed Super Mutu hook. He said he fished with 40-pound Big Game line and 50-pound fluorocarbon leader on a Trinidad 30 reel and a six-foot Calstar rod.
Corey Otto of Ventura won second place for a 67-pounder and Jeremy Drew of Ls Vegas was third for a 58-pound yellowfin tuna.
