Last weekend local anglers were fishing the Punta Banda Bank and Salsipuedes, reporting yellowtail bite on 6 & 7X Salas lures. However the sea lions have heard about the great fishing and they have been surrounding the sport fishing boats to steal their catch. Watch out!

The bonito are showing up at the Salsipuedes big time! 15 pounds and over, eating feathers or Salas lures. The weather conditions have been okay.

We are getting closer to giving reports for offshore fishing, south of Ensenada. Punta Colonet is offering better opportunities to find tuna, dorado, and marlin. Hopefully we can get some reports next week
