Coronado Islands Fish Report

11-1-2014
Gary Graham

The yellowtail continue to dwindle down. Can only be rated as fair at best now. Although the yellowtail are the better grade, just fewer, from 15 to 25 pounds at North Island. Most of the action is coming off sonar marks rather than the surface.

The Middle Grounds and the lee of South Island also have yellowtail in the 8- to 12-pound class, along with ample bonito. Most are little guys in the 1-to 2-pound class with a few better fish in the 3- to 4-pound class and a few jumbos in the 8- to 12-pound class showing up too.
