Fish Report for 10-27-2014

Yellows POP again!

10-27-2014
Channel Islands Sportfishing

Great start to a new week! A lot of the boats focused on yellowtail again today, this time in a new locations. Different grade of fish also. One spot putting out mixed fish from 5lbs to 25lbs and the other 30lbs to 40lbs. Most fish on jigs, both yoyo and surface plus the boats are doing some trolling and picking up fish that way too. Otherwise, if they don't happen to bite the calico bass fishing is awesome right now. Note: we are missing one count from our 3/4 day boat Gentleman. Will update later if we acquire the numbers.

Today's Fish Count: 7 boats and 98 anglers.
41 Yellowtail, 75 Calico Bass, 27 Bonito, 147 Lingcod, 73 Whitefish, 857 Rockfish, 15 Sheephead, 1 Sculpin and 2 Rock Sole.
