Channel Islands Sportfishing
Yes, NOT a misprint!!! The tuna have moved north into our backyard and it's time to use that "sick time" you've been saving. We had an overnight trip on the Mirage come back today with 50 Yellowfin, 78 Yellowtail, 4 Skipjack and a 35lb Dorado. Of course there were casualties with several fish lost. Not a bad day for a trip not expecting to go tuna fishing!
Other boats turned in counts fishing the islands with excellent results as well. Calico fishing is awesome while bottom fishing remains as solid as ever. The end of another good weekend marks the start to a very exciting week coming up!
Today's Fish Count: 10 boats and 220 anglers.
50 Yellowfin Tuna, 78 Yellowtail, 1 Dorado, 4 Skipjack Tuna, 146 Bonito, 150 Calico Bass, 1 Barracuda, 20 Sheephead, 2 Rock Sole, 42 Whitefish, 1077 Rockfish, 53 Lingcod, 35 Perch, 1 Sculpin and 12 Cabezon.
NEW TRIPS online fishing for TUNA-YELLOWTAIL-DORADO departing nightly. Be sure to check out our schedule as we have made several changes to accommodate the demand for offshore fishing. Exciting times here at Cisco's, we knew this was coming as many of you did too. They are here, let's go fishing!
