Big trout and big catfish were the draw this week. Only the trout from the pond were report to staff. The catfish bite has been hot too. Anglers reporting catching catfish in the cove just off the marina and from the North shore Day USE areas. Trout baits reported were mouse tails and power bait. Catfish baits reported were marshmallow with night crawlers and rubber worms.


Memorial Day week will be starting off in the 80's and working up to the 90's by the weekend. Sunshine, sunshine and more sunshie! Overnight temps in the mid to upper 50's and into the lower 60's.

Lake Conditions
Lake Camanche's current elevation is 193.34 ft. above sea level. Water temperature at the launch ramps is approximately 60 degrees and the lake is 39% full. The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently 11 c.s.f. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 346 c.s.f.

April 30th Lake Camanche received the last 1,200 pounds of Mt. Lassen Rainbow Trout for the season. Water temperatures are too high to safely release the trout. All 1,200 lbs were release in the South shore pond. Weekly Weather Mid to upper 70's forecasted through the week with temps getting into the 80's by the weekend.
