Man... this is the real deal. My friends and I went fishing twice while on a recent visit to Cabo. We got skunked on the first trip with another company. Thought we'd save a few bucks. The boat was an old, slow boat & was in pretty shabby condition. We had a couple of strikes but didn't boat any fish. We were truly disappointed. We thought we just had a bad day until we saw all the other charter fishing boats coming in with big catches. Geez.... what to do.

Well we decided to give it another try with a better company and chose Picante. Sure it was a few bucks more, but wow, what a difference. On the first boat we had to stand in line prior to leaving the dock to get our fishing licenses. With Picante, the licenses were included. Also included was fresh, hot (good) coffee in the morning along with a great box lunch that included a breakfast burrito and a sweet roll. The lunch included a great sandwich, fruit, chips and a giant chocolate chip cookie. But wait... there's more. The price of the charter included bait (we had to pay 30 bucks for bait on the first boat), beverages... water, sodas and BEER! Did we have any luck with Picante? All four of us on the boat caught fish.... 3 Dorado, 1 Wahoo and a Marlin. The Marlin was, of course, released to thrill some other angler another day.

Our skipper, Ricardo, and the mate, Pedro, did a great job in all respects! Oh and another thing. the boat was FAST. We got right to the fishing grounds and went to work while some of the older, slower boats were still chugging up the coast. Pedro cleaned and bagged our fish so we could freeze it and bring it home..... over fifty pounds of fresh frozen fish is now in the freezer, and there will be many fish dinners to go with the memories.

Don't waste time with fishing companies that don't deliver. If I get back to Cabo I'll go with Picante in a heartbeat!
