The fishing for Albacore was decent today out 35 miles from Santa Cruz. The scores ranged from 3-12 fish a boat working 36'40/122'38, 36'43/122'34, 36'40/122'35, and 36'47/122'50. The wind was up in the morning but the wind died in the afternoon and became flat calm. The wind is going to stay calm all day Monday so it could be a good time to run. The Salmon fishing was decent for the anglers who worked the 36'51/121'57. The Salmon were caught trolling 80-120 feet down. The Halibut fishing was decent for the few anglers who worked Capitola and near Natural Bridges. The Rockcod fishing was good for the anglers who worked Ano Nuevo and near Natural Bridges. There were some nice Striped Bass caught near Capitola by surf anglers. There were some big Seabass spotted in Capitola.
