The Albacore bite was decent fir the anglers who worked the 36'43/122'43 and 36'43/122'41. The scores ranged from 5-12 fish a boat. There was a Dorado caught at 36'43/122'43 trolling a Mexican Flag way back behind the boat. The anglers said that the bite turned on late but the wind made it hard to stay. The water was windy in the morning but fishable in the morning. There were some 26 foot boats who fished all day from the 601 to the area 36'56/122'38 and ended up with 9 fish. This is a great time to go out and look for exotic fish in the Albacore grounds! The Salmon bite was good for anglers who worked the 36'51/121'58 to 36'51/121'56. There were some limits of fish reported trolling bait down 90-140 feet. The Halibut are starting to bite in the usual areas from

The Albacore bite was decent for some and slow for others. I fished from 36'41/122'32 to 36'48/122'39. We hooked 6 fish on my friends boat and ended up with 3 nice 30 pound fish. I spoke to a friend who had a 20 pound Dorado but he lost. The scores ranged from 0-12 fish a boat in that area. There were some schools of fish that showed up in the afternoon at 36'41/122'34.
