The Albacore bite was decent fir the anglers who worked the 36'43/122'43 and 36'43/122'41. The scores ranged from 5-12 fish a boat. There was a Dorado caught at 36'43/122'43 trolling a Mexican Flag way back behind the boat. The anglers said that the bite turned on late but the wind made it hard to stay. The water was windy in the morning but fishable in the morning. There were some 26 foot boats who fished all day from the 601 to the area 36'56/122'38 and ended up with 9 fish. This is a great time to go out and look for exotic fish in the Albacore grounds! The Salmon bite was good for anglers who worked the 36'51/121'58 to 36'51/121'56.
