Bass & Stripers are both active at Castaic Lake

Castaic Lake Staff
Bass are active at Castaic Lake. The best action is from the shore using a crank-bait. Worms are working in other areas of the lake, especially Sharon's Rest and Firebreak at 10 to 20 ft.
The Striper bite is still good near the Marina. The best baits are Luckycraft and Spooks. The Stripers being caught range from 1 lb. to 8 lbs. Lastly, the Catfish bite is good from the shore with mackerel the best bait.
