Get your fix of the sunshine and warm water before it is gone! Weather info courtesy of www.weather.com.

FISHING REPORT
This week was a fantastic week for catfishin' out at Lake Camanche! Anglers were reeling in catfish all over the place -- at the trout pond, out on the lake, and from the banks!

Local fisherman David Garcia brought his friend Mario Carvajal, of San Jose, CA fishing this past Sunday. The two men said they had great luck catching catfish out in the South Camanche Arm. They told us that the catfish are hanging out in the shallow grassy areas and had luck catching them with chicken liver. Mario is pictured at the top holding his 5.12 lbs catfish.

Resident fisherman Adam Comstock brought in yet another awesome catch this week. He caught a 6.56 lbs catfish.

The Garrett family (pictured in Photo #1) of Elk Grove, CA also had luck catching catfish this week. The Garretts were camping at Monument R.V. park this weekend and decided to do some catfishing at the trout pond on Saturday right after the rain storm. Randy and his daughter Jordan said they let chicken liver sit out all day then used it as bait in the evening. It must have done the trick because the two of them managed to bring in some really nice sized fish! Jordan's weighed 8.67 lbs and Randy managed to reel in an 11.47 pounder!
