FISHING REPORT
Water temperature at the launch ramps is at about 76 degrees. Summertime temperatures have trout hanging out 45 to 50 feet deep out by the dam and any anglers looking to catch trout are having the best luck bringing them in by trolling with down riggers.
The warm weather has Bass hiding out in the shady river banks or out near the dam and we haven't seen too many of them this week.
Catfish are still the fish that the majority of fishermen are catching and they seem to biting just about anything but are particularly fond of chicken liver! Pictured above is Javier Niceler & family of San Lorenzo, CA. This family had a great time fishing the main lake this weekend. On Saturday they were excited to reel in a 5.14 lb. catfish. They fished again on Sunday and had luck bringing in 2 more catfish and a carp. This family said they caught all of their fish using shredded wheat cereal.
