Hi Gang. We ended up having a great day of fishing today. The morning consisted of a good yellowtail bite on 18 to 25 pound fish. Most of our fish this morning came on the yo-yo jig which is an absolute blast. Full size Salas 6x's and 6xjr's in scrabbled egg and blue and white were working best. After the morning bite we had steady action on school sized yellowfin tuna. During one of our tuna stops we had two striped marlin come up in the chum, hooking and releasing both of them. We got to see one swim up to the boat, pec fins out to the side, all lit up, eat a bait, get hooked, then start grey hounding across the stern just feet from the boat....it was an awesome sight. We also picked up a few nice dorado today. We will be moving south for tomorrow. Wish us luck, Bill Cavanaugh and "The Intrepid Team".
