Heavy stringers of catfish continue to pour out of Santa Ana River Lakes. Art & Shiela Harvey, pictured above of Orange strike again, this time they weighed in 28 catfish for a total of 56 pounds.

The couple purchased double 24 hour family fishing passes, fishing all night long using fresh shrimp with garlic scent at the big pipe. The Casillas family of Garden Grove caught 10 cats & 2 tilapia totaling 23 1/2 pounds using night-crawlers with marshmallows in the catfish lake. Michael Leon of Perris caught 6 catfish totaling 15 pounds using mackerel also in the catfish lake. Eric Houston of Irvine caught 4 catfish totaling 13 pounds 9 ounces using shrimp at "The Road".
