Bass, Stripers, Catfish & Panfish are all active at Diamond Valley Lake

Surface Water Temp: 66-72 degrees
Fish Plants: No more this season
Lake Hours: 5:30am-6:30pm
Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the low 60's to high 80's this week. Wind has been picking up around 2pm. Drink plenty of water and watch out for snakes! Algae is almost nonexistent!

BASS
Anglers are catching largemouth daily but on the smaller size range between 1-3 pounds! People are using plastic worms in the green, dark brown, orange and pink colors. Nightcrawlers are also working well for largemouth.

STRIPER
We had one report of stripers this week. Gregg Silks, pictured above from Hemet caught a 23.33lb striper by the east dam. Anglers have been using kastmasters, flies and cut bait.

CATFISH
Catfish are still being caught. Anglers are fishing in the 3rd cove on the right side of the marina using a boat or shoreline. Typical bait for the cats are nightcrawlers, chicken liver and shrimp.

TROUT
No reports of trout this week. Typical bait for trout are mini jigs, powerbait and powerworms.

PANFISH
One report of panfish this week. M.L Merriweather, Photo #1 from Los Angeles caught a 2.66 lb redear by the West Dam. Most common bait is mealworms, redworms, and nightcrawlers.
