BASS
Anglers are still catching largemouth! People are using plastic worms in the green, dark brown and pink colors. Also try using orange crusher roboworms. If the shad come up try using Needlefish in cop car pattern or chrome Kastmasters. Nightcrawlers are also working well for largemouth. We do have an algae bloom going on right now so you might have luck using frogs.

STRIPER
Stripers are picking up! Since shad have been spotted near the surface, it is best to use shad replica lures. There are also reports of stripers biting on baby bass replicas. Kevin Deemer, pictured from Hemet caught 9 stripers with his biggest being 14.01 lbs on a Kastmaster near the marina. Also reports of striper on the south side of the east dam.

CATFISH
Catfish are still being caught. Anglers are fishing in the 3rd cove on the right side of the marina using a boat or shoreline. Typical bait for the cats are nightcrawlers, chicken liver and shrimp.

TROUT
No reports of trout this week. Typical bait for trout are mini jigs, powerbait and powerworms.

PANFISH
No reports of panfish this week. Blue gill and Crappie should be showing themselves soon. Most common bait is mealworms, redworms, and nightcrawlers.
