Qualifier Crew

We started to the catching campaign with style today thanks to Dave Chadborne who landed a 35 lb White Sea Bass shortly followed by a good Halibut. These two beauties where followed by a steady flow of yellowtail coming over the rail. There were even times when all three generations of the Iwamura family were hooked up at the same time. As the day went on the yellowtail increased in size. The morning bite was a nice mix of 15 to 20 pounders while the afternoon brought a steady flow of 20 to 25+ pounders. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and a calm conditions for dinner. Chef Chris once again treated everyone to a marvelous yellowtail dinner followed by a delicious carrot cake for desert. We will continue the catching campaign tommorow with high hopes for more yellowtail, halibut and cross our fingers a white sea bass or two.
