Bayside Marine

The warm water is pushing this way and anglers are catching fish 38 miles out from Santa Cruz. The fish were caught at 36'28/122'23, 36'30/122'30, 36'39/122'30, and 36'27/122'29. The scores ranged from 6-25 fish a boat. The boats that did the best stayed away from the fleet and fished by themselves. The water was flat calm all day long. The Salmon were caught out in front of Moss Landing today near that mile buoy on the north side. The Salmon were caught trolling Krippled Anchovies down 30-60 feet down. There were 2 anglers I spoke to who had limits trolling in that area. There were a few fish caught in the Soquel Hole and near the Yellow Can in 100 feet of water. There were a few nice Halibut caught in Capitola and near the Lighthouse in 45-60 feet of water. The Rockcod fishing was good at Ano Nuevo.

There were other boats who caught 20-30 fish in the same area. The water was like the best day in Mexico but not as hot just...... Read More
