New Melones Guide Report from Gary Burns

From Gary Burns:
We caught lots of rainbows this week with the great weather we have been having on New Melones Lake. Shasta Tackle Sling Blades in blue towing a night crawler about 10" behind the blade about 120' behind the boat with a 1/4oz weight has worked well this week.
We caught bows all over the lake, Carson, Coyote, Angels, all the way to the south part of the lake and in the middle of the main lake. It's not a fast bite so don't give up and put your time in and you should be able to put the bows in your boat.
