Fellow Sportsmen,

Well I have to say this was one of the better weekends so far this sturgeon season. The weather was great the barbecue was going both days my fishermen had a great time and there was a lot of action. Saturday we hooked 14 sturgeon 1 nice big keeper, we lost 2 other good fish and the rest were shakers. One of the shakers was close. We also had 3 shaker bass and a couple shaker flounders.

Sunday we hooked 11 sturgeon, another good big keeper, 2 were close and the rest were shakers. We also landed 4 Shaker bass, 1 keeper bass and a couple shaker flounders. We were fishing up near buoy 9 for the incoming tide and near buoy 4 during the out going tide. All these fish took plain grass shrimp.
