The Striped Bass and Largemouth bite has been very good at Lake Castaic

The Striped Bass have been on the bite at the dam and the shoreline of the upper lake. The hot bait has been a swimbait which have produced a lot of 10 to 20 pounders.

The Largemouth bite has also been good, especially if you use Kastmasters or jigs. Trout can be found near the launch ramp. The trout have been biting best on PowerBait.
