The Striped Bass bite has been very good along the shoreline of the Upper Lake. The best bait for the Stripers has been worm baits or nightcrawlers.
Largemouth Bass have been seen in Utopia and Firebreak Coves. They have been biting on a variety of jigs and lunker plunkers. Catfish have been biting this week around the cliffs at around 50 to 65 feet on mackerel. The best and most consistent bites happen from 7:00 to 8:30 AM.
