Lake Wohlford is offering $20 all day motorboats to seniors on Tuesdays and Thursdays and to active military on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Half day Bass boats are available Mon-Thurs for 35$ each.

The Trout fishing has been good with some limits being taken out of Boat Dock Cove. Frank Hubert of Vista weighed in a stringer of five trout taken from Willow Cove weighing 13.50#. The biggest Trout of the past week belonged to Junior Contrestes of San Marcos who landed a 7.10# rainbow on powerbait on Senior Shoreline. Mouse tails and inflated nightcrawlers are the baits of choice right now.

Each month Whopper Contest winners in 4 categories are awarded a free fishing and boating permit. For information on the contest or fishing conditions, please contact the Ranger Station at (760) 839-4346.
