There are still some large Crowley fihs being caught in the Upper Owens

Water Conditions: Good, as of 12/24 the flows are constant at about 82 cfs. No snow on ground and easy access with no 4X4 but some puddles, as in carwash.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good there are still some big Crowley fish being caught. Flows remain at nice levels.

DRIES: Parachute Adams #18, Brooks Sprout Baetis #18, CDC Baetis Emerger #18-#20, Kaufman Stimulator #18
NYMPHS: Prince Nymph #16-#18, Copper John #18, Birds Nest Olive #16-#18, San Juan Worm, Tung. Psycho #18, Hogans S&M Nymph #18, PT Cruser #18, Superflash PT #18, Micromay Olive #16-#18, Zebra Midge #18, Copper Tiger Midge ##18-#20, WD-40 Olive #18-#20
STREAMERS: Punk Perch, Perfection Perch, Docs Twin Lakes Special, Mohair Leech

for Monday, December 24th, 2012Hot Creek: Fishing is good at Hot Creek, but the bite window is only from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Owens River: In the middle of the day fish on the Owens River Gorge are active but there are not many hatches
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: Water at Pleasant Valley Reservoir is cold so the rule of thumb is "Deep, Dark & Slow"
Owens River: On the Lower Oeens fishing is good. Fish midges early & if it gets cold try Baetis
East Walker River (CA): The flows are still not high enough on the East Walker to improve fishing

for Saturday, December 15th, 2012Hot Creek: Midge hatch in the morning and Baetis throughout the day at Hot Creek
Owens River: There are till some Crowley trout being caught on the Upper Owens
Owens River: The Owens River Gorge is fishing excellent
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: It's a good time to go float tubing at Pleasant Valley Reservoir
Owens River: On the Lower Owens fish Midges early and then switch to Baetis
East Walker River (CA): On the East Walker you'll fing the fish stacked in the deepest pools
