Water Conditions: Good the flows are at 20cfs as of 12/15. Gate is open and no snow on the roads.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good mostly Midges in the mornings after it warms some, with a spattering of Baetis throughout the day.

DRIES: CDC Baetis Dun #18-#20, CDC Baetis Emerger #20, Extended Body BWO #22, Hatch Matcher BWO #18-#20
NYMPHS: BH Crystal BWO #20-#22, Micromay Olive #20, Kingreys Cold Turkey Baetis #20, Crystal Hunchback Baetis #22, Split Case BWO #20, WD-40 Black #22, Tungsten Black Beauty #22, Zebra Midge #22
STREAMERS: Water isn't deep enough to really bother
Guides Hint: Try this Hot Creek trick . . . Get a good drift through the zone and when it is in prime area just set even if indicator has not moved. All they need is to see it move up and they pounce.

Owens River: Crowley fish have moved into the Upeer Owens
Owens River: Owens River Gorge fishing is excellent, no snakes or nettles & lots of fish
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: Water is cold so the rule of thumb at Pleasant Valley Reservoir is "deep dark and slow"
Owens River: Excellent fishing on the Lower Owens, fish midges early until the sun hits the water then Baetis
East Walker River (CA): The East Walker has a better catch rate than typical for this time of year
