From the moment the Shogun arrived & set anchor the Yellowfin & Yellowtail bite was on
11-6-2012
Bill Roecker
"Fishing got off to a great start with some steady action on quality yellowtail and yellowfin," said Shogun's report posted November 5. "We arrived on the grounds around lunchtime and as soon as we got the anchor down the fish started biting. All the way into the dark we kept a steady pick going on yellowfin to 30 pounds and yellowtail to 22 pounds. There were some pesky wahoo hanging around that stole quite a few hooks today, but unfortunately we were unable to put any of the tasty critters aboard. Weather today was beautiful with just enough breeze to keep the kite up and plenty of warm sunshine all day long. Tonight we plan to move a little further south and try our hand at some more tuna and maybe a few mahi and wahoo."
