"We had a very enjoyable day of tuna fishing on fish that were 30 to 50 pounds," said Intrepid's report for November 3. "Most of our fish came on 30 and 40-pound test with a fly lined sardine. To go with nice quality tuna, we also landed some yellowtail, a couple of dorado, and released a couple of marlin. A good time was had by all. Our weather continues to be nice. We will travel further south tonight and try for big tuna tomorrow. Wish us luck, Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team."
