The bass bite continues to be very good. We even had a return of a topwater bite the first 40 minutes of daylight. Dropshot or texas rigged worms are the preferred choices.

Cats also bit wellfor the few that fished for them.

Best Cat Spots: Cloister Cove and anywhere along the dam buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Fish the weed line early and late with frogs. Morning Dawn worms in 25 to 35 ft. of water.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Morning Dawn or black power worms
Water Temp. 73 degrees.

Prognosis: There is nothing to slow down the good bass and cat bite until the lake chills way down. Somebody will figure out the trout next weekend. Ask us and we'll tell you what we know.
