Hello from Your Lake Jennings:
Our bass and cats gave a party but hardly anyone came Like last week the hottest spot was the same for both in Cloister Cove. The lake is still not cool enough to stock trout. We like 74 degrees and it was at 78 last Thursday. Tuesday we will measure the temp. again and will decide then whether we will stock the week of the 22nd. You can call me for a report at 619-980-4844.
Best Cat Spots: Cloister Cove and anywhere along the dam buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Fish the weed line early and late with frogs. Morning Dawn worms in 25 to 35 ft. of water.
` Best Bass Lures/Bait: Morning Dawn worms and frogs.
Water Temp: 78 degrees.
Prognosis: There is nothing to slow down the good bass and cat bite until the lake chills down.
