Royal Polaris returns from 8 Day Trip, September 16, 2012

Royal Polaris docked at Fisherman's Landing September 16 after an eight-day trip with skipper Roy Rose.
"We had very good fishing below and offshore," remarked Rose, "and we had beautiful weather." Teresa Washington won first place for a 49-pound tuna. Warren Hamachi of West Covina got second place, and posed with his 42.5-pound yellowfin tuna. He said he bagged it with a sardine on a 3/0 Owner Super Mutu hook and 20-pound line. Frank Fong of Sacramento won third place for a 39-pound yellowfin tuna. The Rollo Jackpot went to Jim Border of La Canada for a 41-pound wahoo.
