"Today was essentially a travel day for us," said the report from Intrepid for September 13. "We will be fishing at our southernmost destination tomorrow in hopes of finding yellowfin tuna, dorado, and wahoo. We did look along the way and ended up releasing four striped marlin, one of which was very close to 200 pounds, and catching a couple of huge dorado, the biggest weighing close to 60 pounds. To go with some exciting hook ups today, we also saw numerous sperm whales, pilot whales, dolphins, and sea turtles. The weather is still beautiful. Not bad for a travel day."
