"Today was a great day with good fishing," reported Searcher August 26, "starting with yellowfin tuna before daylight and for an hour after daylight. We had 40 tuna on board before we had the sea anchor back on the boat. There was plenty of action with steady troll fish and a few baitfish for most of the morning. We had a dry spell for a couple of hours before lunch and then we found a nice school fo yellowfin tuna associated with a kelp paddy. We were in the ninth inning and getting ready to call it a trip and head for home. Everyone had good opportunity to land a yellowfin. We ended up with 123 tuna for the day along with 9 dorado. Today's picture is Tony Yumori of Culver City with a nice size dorado caught on the troll. We had another successful Capt Potatohead trip--great fishing and good people. Our good friend Dick Uranga was here in spirit. Dick is missed but not forgotten."
