Hello Sportsmen,

Sorry about the delay in reports but it has been very busy and I also had some work done to the boat. The season continues to be great times on the water with a lot of action. The salmon fishing is good one day and slow the next, kind of on and off. We have been fishing the coast listening to the salmon fisherman and keeping our option open to jump over when the bite is good.

While fishing the coast we have seen great rock fish fishing with some very very nice ling cod coming over the rail. It is not uncommon to catch 10 to 15 Ling cod in a day. There are a lot of small ling cod which is a good sign for the future.

We have had some huge black rockfish to 7 lbs and huge black brown rockfish. We are still using live bait, barbless circle hooks up down the coast in preparation for salmon. Yesterday we stayed on the coast in beautiful weather, released a lot of fish and came home with a box of 80 fish. Check out the photos and see the grade of fish we are catching.

I took today off to get caught up on things like my reports, e-mails etc. etc. The salmon season goes until November 11 and I believe the action easily should continue until late October. It looks like I'm going to reopen Monday and cancel my day off. I was going to take the day off but the weather and fishing is too good. Other than that I only have 2 days open in September and 3 days open in October if you're interested call me soon. Enjoy the photos.
