We had 9 boats get out today fishing from the coast to the outer islands. The water is a little warm for the seabass bit right now although it’s getting ripe for yellowtail. Most of our boats today hit the bottom fish hard with 1299 rockfish today for the landing along with a mix variety of whitefish, lingcod, cabezon, sheephead, perch and sculpin. The Cobra was able to put a flatfish on the boat today while calico fishing and the Sea Jay had limits of shallow water rockfish.
